Hello everyone,
I would like to express my gratitude towards my form group, 5A who have been amazing this semester. Grade 5A students and I decided to enter a ‘Kind Classroom’ projec,t which was advertised by Behind the News ABC TV. The project was aimed at one act of kindness. However, my 5A’s decided to do a ‘Act of Kindness’ for one week.
We planned and organised donations and places to visit. This has been an amazing experience for us all. This project gave us the opportunity to grow and build our friendships. We have made a great impact on others’ lives and our own life. Students visited homeless people in the city, nursing homes, Salvation Army, Sunshine Hospital and raised money to buy them all gifts.
I would like to thank all our parents and staff who supported us through this journey. A special thanks to Ms Sam Yacine, as she captured all our special moments on camera. We were recognised for our fantastic effort and our project was aired on ABC TV Behind The News.
